Turncoat ("the App") is a social deduction party game developed by Leadha. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Anonymous Session Data: When you play online, the App creates an anonymous session using Supabase Authentication. This generates a random identifier (UUID) that is not linked to your real identity. No email, phone number, or personal information is required.
Game Data: During online games, the App stores temporary game state (player names you choose, votes, game actions) on our servers. This data is associated with your anonymous session and the game room, not with any personal identity.
Optional Account Data: If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we store your display name and a unique account identifier to enable features like friend lists and game statistics. We do not access your email unless you choose to share it.
Device Storage: The App stores a locally generated device identifier and sound preferences on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you play online.
Game data is used solely to operate the multiplayer game. Anonymous sessions enable real-time gameplay between devices. Optional account data enables friend lists and statistics.
Game room data (rooms, players, actions) is temporary and may be deleted after games conclude. Account data is retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from within the App.
The App uses Supabase for authentication, database, and real-time communication. Supabase processes data in accordance with their privacy policy.
The App is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
You can delete your account and all associated data from within the App at any time. If you play as a guest (anonymous session), no persistent personal data is stored.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
